| LeRoy “Roy” Gilbert Dahlin, age 80, of Pequot Lakes and formerly of Brooklyn Park and Annandale passed away on Saturday, February 20th, 2010 at Heritage House.
He was born on December 29, 1929 in French Lake, Minnesota the son of Bert & Marie Dokken Otterdahl. He was the proprietor of Dahlin Enterprises in Brooklyn Park, making electronic switching systems for car stereo and speaker displays, and various other custom electronic assemblies.
Roy enjoyed his dogs, hunting, fishing and traveling. Survived by six children: John (Ruth) Dahlin of Anoka, Robert (Judy) Dahlin of Maple Grove, Diane (Tom) Lauzon of Brooklyn Park, Jeff Dahlin of Champlin, Laura (James) Schroer of Elk River, and Kurt (Angie) Dahlin of Ramsey; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death his parents: Bert & Marie Otterdahl, five siblings and his step father: John Dahlin. A memorial service for LeRoy “Roy” Dahlin will be held on Friday, March 5th at 1p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale. A reception will be held at the church following the service.
